Our Story
Our story began with Sam, a tulip farmer seeking sustainable alternatives. Teaming up with Rabobank, Sam explored new opportunities and connected with Martin, an algae expert with over a decade of experience in algae products and supplements.

Together, they identified a market gap and developed an innovative approach: growing algae sustainably on a large scale in greenhouses.

With a shared vision and hands on mentality for a greener future, we’re proud to lead the way in sustainable algae production.
Our leadership team brings a wealth of expertise to the table.

Sam has over 20 years of experience in greenhouse horticulture and two years dedicated to algae research and development. Martin has been active in the algae business for 15 years and brings 25 years of international experience in food supplements along with an extensive network in the ingredients industry.

Together, their combined knowledge drives our innovation and success.
